I'm still taking advantage of these beautiful, spring-ish days. This mass of twigs and branches will be a beautiful, albeit uncontrollable, bush in the spring and summer. It looks so barren now, but kind of interesting how it weaves in and out of the chain link. It will fill in so much this summer that you won't even be able to see the fence at all.

I helped my dad stuff envelopes with the invitations to their 50th Anniversary party next month. The list that originally started out at about 100 names has grown to about 250. It's amazing how many people they know! I just hope lots of their friends come to celebrate this huge milestone with them.
